3. Flash Cards

The following websites are the best resources to print flash cards for learning the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors. Of course you can always substitute with flash cards that you already own or print from any website that you like. If you can find them cheap buy them and save time in printing and laminating. Just make sure to have 2 sets of each. Save money and ink buy cutting from magazines and old books from garage sales or Good Will and glue to 3×5 cards. You can save money by using stickers or drawing and coloring images on 3×5 cards.

Directions:

Make double copies and laminate or cover with contact paper. (you only need 1 set of double copies for ABC’s, 123’s, colors and shapes-there are many designs to choose from, black & white and color. Choose 1 set and make double copies. If you prefer, you can print a variety of different designs and types but you do not need double copies of everything) The flashcards will be used throughout the curriculum during circle time, singing time, and games.

1. Explore the above website and print different versions of Alphabet cards (color, b&w, with and without pictures, with and without words etc…)

2. Print flash cards for colors and shapes

3. Print different versions of number cards- color and b&w, and ladybug counting cards

4. Make sure to print something with a 0 on it
